One Scoop, Three Jobs: EAAs, BCAAs, and Electrolytes
Base Aminos is NutraBio's answer to a cluttered supplement shelf. Instead of running a BCAA, a separate EAA, and a hydration powder side by side, this puts all three in a single fully dosed scoop. It replaces EAA Pure, BCAA 5000, and Amino Kick in NutraBio's lineup, and it is stimulant free, so it works at 6 a.m. or 9 p.m.
What Is in Each Scoop
- 10 g essential amino acids. All nine EAAs, the ones your body cannot manufacture, in amounts printed openly on the label.
- 6 g BCAAs at 2:1:1. 3 g L-leucine, 1.5 g L-isoleucine, 1.5 g L-valine. That is the ratio the research actually used, not a marketing ratio.
- 2.8 g electrolyte hydration matrix. Replaces the minerals you lose through sweat so output holds up late in a session.
- 1 g taurine. Supports hydration and cell volume.
- 50 mg AstraGin®. A patented blend of Panax notoginseng and Astragalus membranaceus that improves how much of the aminos you actually absorb.
Why EAAs Beat Straight BCAAs
A BCAA product gives you three amino acids. Muscle protein synthesis needs all nine essentials present to run. Supply only the branched-chain three and your body still has to find the other six somewhere before it can build anything. Base Aminos supplies the full set, which is why a complete EAA formula does more for recovery than a BCAA-only scoop at the same dose.
Who It Is For
Lifters chasing recovery between hard sessions. Anyone training fasted who wants amino support without calories. People in a deficit trying to hold onto lean mass. Endurance athletes and heavy sweaters who need the electrolytes as much as the aminos. And anyone who just does not drink enough water and needs a reason to.

How to Use It
Mix one scoop into 8 to 12 oz of cold water. Take it before, during, or after training, or sip it through the day when you want hydration and amino support. The Unflavored version stacks into anything without changing the taste, which makes it the one to grab if you already drink a flavored intra-workout.
Flavors We Stock
Grape Berry Crush — dark grape with a berry edge, the closest thing here to a classic candy flavor.
Dragon Fruit Candy — bright, tropical, sweet without being heavy.
Unflavored — nothing added, for stacking into an existing drink or for anyone avoiding sweeteners.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Base Aminos contain caffeine?
No. It is completely stimulant free and can be used any time of day, including evening training.
What is the difference between Base Aminos and a BCAA supplement?
BCAAs give you three amino acids. Base Aminos gives you all nine essentials, including those three, plus electrolytes and an absorption enhancer.
When should I take it?
Before, during, or after training. It also works between meals to raise daily amino intake. Timing is flexible; the formula is not stimulant dependent.
Can I take it every day?
Yes. It is built for daily use, on training days and rest days alike.
Does it replace EAA Pure, BCAA 5000, or Amino Kick?
Yes. NutraBio consolidated all three into Base Aminos. If you want the energy that Amino Kick had, stack it with caffeine capsules.
Which flavor should I pick?
Grape Berry Crush if you want something familiar and sweet. Dragon Fruit Candy if you want bright and tropical. Unflavored if you are mixing it into something else or skipping sweeteners entirely.
Can I stack it with a pre-workout?
Yes. Take your pre-workout before training and sip Base Aminos during. Since Base Aminos has no stimulants, there is no overlap.
Will it break a fast?
Amino acids are calorie-bearing, so strictly speaking yes. Many people still use it during fasted training specifically to protect lean mass.
